Lauretta Jean's started as a Farmer's Market Booth in the spring of 2011. By the fall we were in our first brick & mortar at SW 6th & Pine. Things were swimming right along and by the following spring we decided we needed our own dedicated kitchen and an east-side location. We found a space on 34th & SE Division that summer and opened in the fall of 2012. Serving breakfast everyday and dessert every night the east-shop is hopping mothership for the all the Lauretta Jean's outposts.
Who is Lauretta Jean? She is owner, Kate McMillen's grandmother. Lauretta Jean taught Kate everything she knows about being an expert pie maker.
